Meet Aya Shlachter


Aya has been successfully creating and running her own businesses for over 15 years making her an exemplary mentor to those looking to blaze their own trail in entrepreneurship.  In addition to being the founder of Architect My Life, Aya is also a founder of 3 other ventures:  MGS Global Group, a built environment, architectural consulting firm serving the creative industries and publicly traded companies; MGS Graphics Pro, a graphics consulting firm serving creative agencies; Tablea Chocolate, a chocolate manufacturer and cafe chain which she started during the 2008 recession when her architecture business was down.

The combination of Aya’s exceptional business acumen and grit has brought her significant success, both nationally and internationally. Her role as a respected businesswoman and thought leader did not go unrecognized in Cleveland. She serves in the following advisory 

Boards: John Carroll University Women’s Advisory Council; Kent State University: LaunchNET Program: and Warrensville Heights High School Graphic Design CTE Advisory Board. 

Aya earned a Master’s  degree in Architecture and Urban Design from Columbia University and a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. Her interest in the hospitality industry led her to further her education through Harvard University’s Hospitality Design and Planning professional development program

Aya has completed over a dozen triathlons, marathons and open water swim events.  She remains balanced by practicing health and wellness, spending quality time with her family and spending time outdoors.
